The 940nm short-range illuminator includes a set of interchangeable beam pattern diffusers. This allows security teams to easily match the infrared beam to the specific camera application, ensuring accurately illuminated scenes for reliable detection and understanding.

Designed for long-term reliability, the illuminator features a polycarbonate front window equipped with self-cleaning lens coating technology. This specialized coating reduces the accumulation of dirt and debris, minimizing the need for manual cleaning and ensuring consistent night-time visibility.

By providing reliable 940nm infrared light, the illuminator dramatically improves night-time imaging in complete darkness. This clear, covert visibility allows cameras to maintain sharp focus, which significantly reduces image noise and lowers bandwidth-consuming bit rates.

The unit features an integrated adjustable photocell for automatic day-to-night switching, alongside adjustable IR intensity. For advanced system integration, it includes telemetry input and photocell output, allowing for external switching and seamless coordination with broader security operations.

Housed in a robust anodized aluminum extrusion, the illuminator is IP66 and IK09 rated to withstand harsh weather and physical impacts. It also features a pressure equalization valve to prevent thermal expansion and pressure cycling, ensuring dependable operation across fluctuating temperatures.
